Ok so Ive had my sixthreezero beach cruiser since April and I absolutely love it. However the seat makes this loud squeaking noise whenever I sit on it. Its alittle embarrasing. I was just wondering what should I do to fix this problem?

It may be in the springs. It may be in the seat rails that attach to the seat post. Consult a local bike shop. They will have chain oil that should cure the problem.

Had a similar problem on a Raleigh hybrid.

I have a 1981 Yamaha Virago. It was running good until I changed the oil. It sounded totally different and would not accelerate very well at all. I had to have the throttle all the way back to get it out of first gear. I drained some oil out in case i had over filled it. Now it won’t start and back fires when i try to start it.

Change your plugs that should do it.

I was given a ticket for crossing a double yellow line in HOV lane on 105 freeway along with 3 other cars. He was waiting about half mile down the road when he flagged us to stop to side of the freeway and was given tickets. However, he’s a Los Angeles Sheriff on motorcyle. Is he allowed to give tickets on highways and flag down a group of motorists all together to write up tickets? How can I get out of this?

The LA County Sheriff generally does not enforce traffic laws, but they have every right to and will if observing a violation. You broke the law, and got caught. You can plead guilty and explain why you absolutely had to cross the line and had no other choice. Or you can plead innocent and make the Sheriff show up in court which has a 50/50 chance of happening.

Ok, Well im 14 and taking a motor bicycle permit(a moped test) and ive been stressing on what i need to study. If any of you have took one or any ideas they will be extremely appreciacted, Thanks!

Their should be a book at your local DMV specifically for the motor bike test. Also included in these tests and questions from the actual drivers exams. At least that’s how it is in Ohio. If you dont fully study both of these books from front to back you wont pass.

Their are questions about the allowed blood alcohol content level, how far you can stop from a school bus, How to ride in a staggered stance with groups, how to turn corners, evade obstacles, deal with the rain and traffic ect ect.
I took it at 15 and failed 2 times before i passed, i passed the motor vehicle test the first time. Motor bikes a lot harder.

I just bought a Mossberg 500 but mine on the tag it says Persuader/Cruiser? I’ve notice there’s different ones is mine a combo of both? What can I do to mine? I want to use it for home defense as well for hunting..

The persuader is an extended magazine tube gun that holds 7+1 in the chamber. The cruiser is a pistol grip Mossy. To have both, your gun would be a 7+1 with a pistol grip.

My butt burns from the seat being so hard, whats the best solution for long rides?

Gel padding is very nice on the buttocks….If Dr scholls made seats, I’d get one! hahaha!

You can get gel inserts for seats….they arent expensive. Very comfy.

Also look into Corbin seats, they are also very nice.

Im looking into buying a 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser with 129k miles or a 2006 Toyota Avalon with 65k miles. I like the Land Cruiser better because its for off road use and was built in Japan, buts its 7 years older with 2x the amount of miles. Please help.
I heard that the 2006 & 2006 Avalons were recalled at the start for U-body welds and oil lines.

They are both in different categories. Luxury wise, they’re about the same.

It all comes down to whether you want a SUV or sedan. Pretty much all the factors are equal like 4 doors, brand, comfort, etc.

I personally like the Land Cruiser more. Those are amazingly built cars.

I have been having problems with the electrical system on my honda ct90 motorcyle. I replaced the rectifier to try and fix it but that did not fix it completely, but it did help. I am able to run the bike off a full charge and when I am riding it, the bike will die when the battery gets dead, much quicker if I have my high beams on. The tail lights and blinkers are so dim that they can not be seen in day light. When I press the horn it just goes "pluhhhh…". I tested the voltage, the tail light is getting 7v, blinkers 4 or 5 volts, battery 7v. What part should I replace to fix this and make my electric system work efficiently?

When I shut off the bike the 10v wire gives no reading and the 5v still reads out. The bike seems to maintain 5v when I am testing. I am not sure if the problem might be that the bad part is working sometimes and malfunctioning at others or what.

I was planning to get an electra cruiser with coaster brakes and I was wondering if it would be possible to coast. (Moving without pedaling)

Of course. Coaster brakes work by pedaling backwards. Not pedaling, ypu are freewheeling. Pedaling forward drives the bike.

I bought a beach cruiser and now I want to put pegs on the back axel. We’ve tried 2 sets of bmx pegs and they just don’t fit the short screws on the axel. We’ve tried every bicycle shop in Santa Monica, and failed to find any. The bike mechanics have been less than helpful. Anyone from Southern California have an idea where we might be able to find some? Thanks!

Beach cruisers were not meant to have pegs, they serve no purpose.
